I’m taking you on a journey to the land of Bloomsville;
No matter how loud they cry,
It would never be heard
Even though it travels as far as the sky.
With the blood of my foes I inked,
Dispersing verdicts atop my hill.
Its very lucid with no bit of blur,
That I sprang from painful slurs.
In the dark she finally stood,
With her arms akimbo
and the wind on her face.
Eyes fierce in determination,
She said “I shall be.”
and the wind carried her words…
I would live to savour this moment,
I would live to savour this taste,
Trickling from her lips
and Seeping beneath her skin.
A world living in harmony
With everyone swaying to the same melody
Enmity is cast down to earth
and it dwells amongst us.
“If I could take charge of my mind, only then would I rule the world.”
“This darkness must be buried.”
I growled! Making use of my last breath
As a Phoenix rises from its remains,
So would my marriage vow spring to life,
So would my love be as fresh as new.
And I would love you Everyday till the very Last day.
Its the melody for the soul,
it soothes the ears as it cajoles
It was blood night;
the feast for the damned,
a tussle for the crown.
Pain is the “grim reaper”
Inflicting misery with his scythe,
Laying to waste anything in sight.
Why hide beneath these facades?”
Take charge and break loose.
In loving memory of PROF. DORA NKEM AKUNYILI (OFR) a “Strong Woman”
Empty you shall depart,
Because on earth you failed to impart.
Your entrance into this world were marked by gunshots
I fled carrying your placenta and whatnot
There shall be no tomb
whilst feeding from these crumbs.
