Power of the Mind

The mind is an excellent servant but a tyrannical master – Julian Mantle. This saying goes a long way. When we control and groom our mind, it’s indeed faithful but can also be a problem if not controlled. Your mind is unlimited in its potential to create whatever you desire. When you put that mind power t‎o work, possibilities are endless.

The mind provides the capacity for thinking and imagination therefore it’s a tool for planning, reflecting and learning. But for all these to happen, we must learn how to control our mind. The content of our mind should be positive and rich so as to pull you towards achieving that goal; negative contents only bring stagnation and retrogression. It’s better not having anything in mind than having negative thoughts. There’s no message that enters the mind that doesn’t affect it to some degree. Your mind interprets your thoughts. Just as your mind miscomprehends an Arabic book when you’re not trained to understand it.

You may have told yourself you’re not as good as other people and then your mind records it. This mind will therefore continuously tell you things you cannot do and thereby limiting you and keep you little. Whatever you plant in your mind, is what you will harvest. We all view with the eyes of the mind; if you can see it, you can and will have it. Filling your mind with emotions and negative thoughts like fear, resentment, rejection and frustration will only produce negative outcomes but filling your mind with empowering thoughts like confidence, enthusiasm, determination will help you achieve that goal that flourishes and attains it’s highest point.

Know that the mind delivers whatever you put into it in increased proportions. Once you learn how to free yourself from the clutches of self limiting negative thoughts, you’ll find a world of limitless possibilities opening up to you. Through practice of controlling and grooming that mind of yours, you’ll notice that your life becomes less disturbed by negative thoughts and fears. So my people, learn to cultivate your mind and thoughts the way you cultivate your garden, making sure that the kind of seeds you plant will bring you bountiful harvest. Stay blessed!!
