ASCAP congratulates Wizkid, TuFace cancels Pro-Nigerian March, more. 

What a week! Now let’s catch up with a few happenings.    So Wizkid mentioned football this Saturday on Twitter. Apparently, he watched Chelsea and Arsenal play; he really enjoyed the game. He tweeted ‘Big Chelsea!! ?’ and definitely comments came in. Wizkid also said he doesn’t have a team. See tweets below—>
  ASCAP congratulates Wizkid 

   ‘One Dance’ by Drake ft Wizkid & Kyla has been recognized by ASCAP for remaining #1 on the Billboard Top 100 for 10 weeks. Wizkid was congratulated as the writer of the song. (The ASCAP Vanguard Award is an annual award presented by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), in recognition of the impact of new and developing musical genres, which help shape the future of music. The award was first presented to Soul Asylum and Björk in 1996.)
   TuFace cancels the Pro-Nigerian March. 

  TuFace now known as TuBaba intended to start a Pro-Nigerian March with the intentions of providing a platform for Nigerians to air their views and lay their complaints as regards to the nation; Nigeria. He clearly stated that it isn’t an anti-government protest and also urged Nigerians to do it in peace. It was scheduled to begin this Monday in Lagos and Abuja. 

   Sadly, he took to his Instagram to announce that it won’t hold anymore. He mentioned that it was for security reasons and no life of any Nigerian is worth the March. Well, after that, Seyi Law took his Twitter as well. He said that TuFace has canceled his own participation and not his’
