Consistency and Persistency is Key

Happy Sunday to everyone! Thanks for visiting my blog today for those who had to search on Google or click/ type that link. I wrote this last year when certain thoughts sparked up. Consistency and persistency is key? I believe so but I don’t know if you do also. Continue reading to understand me more —->  Consistency is all about regularity and uniformity; it’s the lack of change or deviation. More of the quality of achieving a level of performance which does not vary greatly in quality over time. Persistency is all about continuity. It’s the continued existence or occurrence of something or someone caused by a firmness of purpose.

I guess it didn’t just hit me because I feel so but because I’ve seen so. Persistency and consistency has to deal with a firmness of purpose which causes one to stay on track and continue at a reasonable pace.

I’ll be bringing two acts to the limelight today. Let’s consider,

MARK ANGEL COMEDY

He’s been doing a lot in the past years but he officially started in 2013. Going through their YouTube channel, it was created 3 years ago. From what I saw today his least hits was on a video put up 3 years ago with 68k views. I’m very certain it wasn’t that much until they became quite popular. I was also amazed when I saw his most hits to be 6.9M. Now, most of us knew Mark Angel Comedy from Episode 48 which was titled ‘This is not my real face’ ?? Emanuella nailed it. Here’s the moral; think of how many videos where shot, all the money put into every project, all the disappointments, videos turned down or even that moment you do something and you think it’s the bomb then you wake up to less or no views, up until Episode 48.

Tip- Don’t give up based on views. You’ll always have a few people cheering you up; that’s enough to go, don’t give up!

Secondly, Don’t gerarahere though! Keep reading ??

 FRANCIS ODEGA

Francis is one of Nigeria’s veteran actors; he has been in the industry since 1996. I can’t count how many times I stumbled upon his movies but still no endorsement deal and not so much people knew him. But just a video clip from a three-part movie titled, Welcome to South, Back from South and Agony of South were he starred alongside Imeh Bishop and Dede Oneday got Francis more views and recognition than any of his movies since 1996. He also signed a multi million naira endorsement deal with ETISALAT in 2015.

I sincerely believe God’s time is best. Perhaps if any other movie brought Francis out it might have not been as big as this. So my dear reader, keep hustling and doing your thing; one day you’ll wake up to fame! A lot of bloggers have given up based on views but you don’t know that one thing you’ll do that would skyrocket you. Never give up!

  1. This was inspiring. I personally struggle with an envious heart, especially when I see people living the life I desire. I have confidence in my abilities but when I do not get my expected reaction I begin to feel bad. I am presently in a state of taking one day at a time and just letting myself and my brand grow.

  2. Thanks a lot Krizteeyn; it could take time to establish and at times it takes less- grace differs. But certainly; we would make it no matter how long it takes. Thanks for sharing your experience and sincerely I feel bad as well when I don’t get what I expect.
